May 2026: With the establishment of Parents of Wasatch Front Scouting as a Non-Profit, we have recently updated our Payment Options to include Zelle, Check, Venmo, and Square. Follow the link here for Payment Options. Dues and Fees are not tax-deductible, but Donations may be tax-deductible depending on your tax filing status. Contact our Chartered Organization Rep and Treasurer to receive a Donations receipt for tax purposes.

About Us

The Venturing Crew is for Scouts 14 and older who desire more “adventurous” outings. The activities are fun-filled, organized and executed by and for the youth, and designed to develop leadership, teamwork, and character through outdoor adventures and outings. The Crew is co-ed and meets on a flexible schedule, at least once per month. They engage in activities such as backpacking, mountain biking, water sports (e.g. canoeing and kayaking), rock climbing, and other high adventure activities. Each activity provides an opportunity for participants to shine and learn more about themselves and the world around them. They acquire life skills and gain experiences that will prove to be valuable regardless of where the future takes them, all while having a blast. They develop skills such as leadership, event planning, organization, communication, and responsibility – the list goes on!
